While this is solid advice, it is of the strain of "personal responsibility". If you believe Robert Lustig, this tactic was created to absolve big food of responsibility for making Americans sick, and was not effective in making us healthier. From food delivery to social media to insurance/financial instruments to data networks, most of what we create now is detrimental to us, and we must expend energy to work around what we sell.
